A buildup that subverts Pennsylvania's own law of liberty

Paradise Township does not need a permanent State Police barracks. Nor does it need a PUBLIC
administrative agency encroaching on the PRIVATE Sector People.

Pennsylvania's own Constitution — Article I, Section 22 — says a standing army should not be kept
up in time of peace without the People's consent, through their Legislature, and that the military
must remain subordinate to civil authority at all times. This household is not consenting.

The Pennsylvania Constitution, Article I, Section 22, states: "No standing army shall, in time of peace, be kept up without the consent of the Legislature, and the military shall in all cases and at all times be in strict subordination to the civil power." A permanent state police barracks in Paradise Township is the kind of buildup that provision was written to guard against.

The Sheriff is the People's original, constitutionally-rooted law officer — elected directly by the county, and a check worth strengthening as the State Police presence grows.
